Unfortunately, there's not much to say about today. This is because today is the end of our trip. We got up to get in our Uber that left at 5am. It took us to the airport as we remembered all the amazing things that we got to explore on this journey. We got to the airport, checked our bags and went to our gate. Luckily we got a great view of the sunrise from our gate.
Our first flight departed at 8:30 from Athens, Greece and took us to Frankfurt, Germany. It was a 3 and a half hour plane ride to Frankfurt. We then had a 3 hour layover before getting on the next flight from Frankfurt, Germany to Seattle, USA. The flight took ten hours but it was a very nice plane. there were many empty rows including a row behind us that was completely empty so Griffin took that so he could lie down because he very much needed it after a rough small amount of sleep last night. He slept all 10 hours.

Gage also slept, but not nearly as long - or as comfortably - as Griff!
We then got off the plane and got some dinner during our next 3 and a half hour layover, before we get on our final flight back home.
We then took our last train of the trip to get to our last gate. The final flight home seemed went by like a blur. Dad, Gage, and Mom slept on the plane. We finally landed and were so ready to be in a bed. We got a cab, got home, greeted Jake who was exasperated to see us again, and we went to sleep in our own beds for the first time in 2 months. (Parent note: arriving home around 1 am after 26+ hours of traveling!)
Jake was very happy to have his sleeping buddy back (Griff).
Last Train Ride of the Trip
Big Thanks to Cindie for taking care of our home for us while we were away and doing an amazing job. Also we would all like to give a big thanks to Mom and Dad for making this trip possible. We have learned so much and are forever thankful. It really was a trip of a lifetime. Also, we would all like to shout out everyone who has been along with us this whole Journey by reading the blog everyday (Or every day it was posted at least. Sorry!). Thank you all, and Goodbye.
Griffin
