Today was our first whole day in Palamós. Everyone slept very well and was ready for the day. Mom got up early to walk around a little and go to the store for some stuff for breakfast. Everyone else got up one after one until we left the house at 11:00. We first walked to the ocean which is pretty close to our place, and then we walked along the boardwalk and beach to the marina. There were many cool boats and we walked out on the docks. The water was incredibly clear so you could see all the way down to the bottom of the sea floor. There were many fish and it was very cool. We then walked out on the very long pier and then went up to the lighthouse which had an incredible view of the ocean.
After walking along the Mediterranean sea, we decided to go into town and walk around a little, as well as find a grocery store to get stuff for lunch. We all got a pizza and some other interesting things that looked like they could be good. (Parent note: taking advantage of having an oven!). We then carried it back to the house and ate our lunches while planning out what we wanted to do the rest of the day and the other days we will be here in Palamós. Then Kayla, Mom and Gage went to ANOTHER grocery store while Griff and Dad found a soccer field to play at and Connor slept. After everyone got home, Connor, Kayla, Mom, and Griff went to the lighthouse to watch the sun go down past the mountains in the distance. It was one of the most beautiful sunsets they had ever seen. We then went home and had dinner.
After dinner Mom went to bed, Gage talked to his girlfriend the whole night until morning, and Connor, Kayla, Dad, and Griff watched movies and Top Gear until they slowly all went to bed.
